The Search is On!

One of the many things that we look forward to this year is the ending of DH’s contract. We are not excited about him, losing a job, but finding a new one. His current office will finally end it’s project after years of operation in the area. That’s the nature of NGOs, right?

Anyways, aside from looking for jobs online, he is also searching the World Wide Web for fast and affordable netbooks. He will be needing one since the laptop he’s currently using will be surrendered to his office once the contract ends.

Moreover, my mom is also requesting him to help her find a good netbook for her. She teaches part-time in two graduate schools and travels a lot. She claims she needs a a laptop to improve her teaching strategies. Fine. But she does not need one with a flashy and classy cover, right? Because that’s what she wanted! A red one, if I may add. DH has been insisting that it’s more expensive but works like the plain covered ones. Oh well… She knows what she wants and she has money to pay for it so who are we to complain, right? :)
