Annual University Festival? Done!
Tuesday, December 8, 2009
Our annual festival at the university was finally over and I am so relieved that it is. As the office in charge of student activities, one major task is now behind us, that’s for sure. It was experience that we look forward to and at the same time dread as we have about 4,000 students to cater to. Various activities were lined up for students to take part to, thanks to our reliable student government and their adviser. I can say that she (their adviser) made this year’s festival a more peaceful one compared to last year’s. I thank God for her! (And I hope that she was just joking when she said that she will transfer to a medical assistant training school where a teacher’s life is much less complicated!)
Anyways, here are some of the shots I took in the morning of the first day of the fest during the cheer dance contest:

These are from two of our five colleges that performed. I had to leave when the fourth group were about to perform (and I have no nice shots taken of the third group). The contest took place at around noon time and I have to give it up for our students who braved the scorching heat of the sun just to give honor and glory for their college.
