Family Vacation at Breezes Resorts
Saturday, July 31, 2010
An airline recently concluded another phenomenal domestic and international seat sale that made traveling affordable for many. The travel period will be summer next year so a lot of friends I know booked flights to some family vacation destinations.
I for one would love to book a grand vacation for my family before the year ends. I think that we deserve it – my husband and I who are working so hard and our daughter who has been a diligent pupil since the school year began. To do that, I first need to browse the Net for some great family vacation packages. I found what I was looking for at Breezes Resorts and I can’t wait to avail of their affordable family vacations packages.
At Breezes Resorts, there are varied destinations to choose from – Panama, Bahamas, Curacao, Brazil and Jamaica. Every Breezes Resort is situated on pristine beaches where families can enjoy a variety of water fun and sports activities. From what I learned they have awesome super all inclusive offers where everything like deluxe accommodations, meals and snacks, unlimited premium beverages, entertainment and sports are paid for in advance. All inclusive vacations let families enjoy the break without worrying about paying for anything. Truly, a Breezes Resort getaway is the perfect way for families to bond and just have fun.
It’s a clearance sale at one of my favorite malls – Robinsons! I do not have things in mind but that’s the fun of it, right? Finding an unexpected good deal! And since things will be on sale, I know that my husband will be more than happy to keep me company. I can’t wait to visit Robinsons and see what’s in store. Now you know where to find me come August!
Some children’s coin purses and accessories made by Daiso were recalled early this month due to the high level of lead found on the surface paint on the zippers and the clasps on the jewelry. These were sold in Daiso stores in California and Washington for about $1.50 from May 2009 through December 2009. Consumers are advised to immediately contact Daiso or visit
My morning was greeted with a news that a close friend of mine went on a zip line adventure yesterday. Isn’t it obvious that I am green with envy? Haha! We were together when we had our first experience of a zip line ride last May at Eden’s Park. But this time, she tried Outland Adventure in Davao City. I was too giddy and excited when she related her story. I can just imagine how tired she was when she had to climb the mountain just to get to the top, climb the tower and how she shouted at the top of her lungs while sliding through the line! I Googled Outland Adventure and here is what I found:
Did you know that there is a patron saint of the Internet (and that includes computer users, computers, computer technicians, students and school children)? The name is Saint Isodore of Seville who lived from 560 AD to April 4, 636. He studied in the Cathedral school of Seville and was dedicated in his pursuit of knowledge. His efforts paid off and he mastered Latin, Greek and Hebrew in no time. One of the many learned men served as his teachers and of them is his brother Leander, the Archbishop. What made him qualified to be the patron saint of the Internet was his dedication to gather all universal information, like what the Internet aims to do today. During his time, he collected and compiled all information which he put together within his writings know as Etymologiae. This compilation is said to contain all of the learning he possessed. During that time, this compilation was used by almost all schools as the source of all learning. Up to the present time, some parts of the compilation still remain as an excellent reference.

Here is another coupon from ArtsCow: CAMPMUG. It lets you avail of an insulated thermal mug for as low as $9.99 each with free shipping. This is perfect for whatever beverage you prefer, be it hot or cold. It makes a nice gift item too!
Maintaining a grateful heart can be tough at times, especially when life has not been that great for us. However, gratitude leads us to focusing on the good stuff. There will always be “good stuff” in our lives no matter what we are facing, no matter where we are. They are there and we need to take time to recognize and acknowledge them. I know, it is easier said than done. But doing something great requires effort and being grateful is a great thing. ;)
Here is one of my recent reads, thanks to the girls: THE ALMOST MOON by Alice Sebold, author of The Lovely Bones. It may have received numerous negative reviews but I like how it was written. There were questions which were left unanswered but I like its ending.

Days of our Lives paid tribute to Francis Reid/Alice Horton this week (Francis, the actress, died in February, Alice (the character) died last week). She was 91 years old and was protrayed as a smart, witty, funny, loving, always gave the best advice type woman. Wonderful mother, grandmother, friend... many characters (and cast members) commented on how they strive to be the type of woman she was. Is there someone in your life that you strive to be like? I used to try to be like my mother but I realized that I am my own person and very different from her. Trying to be someone who is not me makes life tough so now, I just strive to be ME! :D
