Updates from Former Colleagues

Last week, I had the privilege to meet and spend some time with my daughter’s former teachers in her previous school. It’s been a while since I last saw them and it is great to be exchanging updates with them since they are my friends too.

They were my former colleagues at the university where I once worked and we have witnessed how each of us matured, advanced in our careers and got married. I am happy to learn that some of them who have been planning to have kids now have one or two. On the other hand, one of them who was searching for a good home for his family now enjoys the comforts of living in a manufactured home. According to him, it is perfect and just what his family needs. Some have also left the school for a greener pasture while others have filed a leave of absence to pursue further studies.

It is nice to touch base with old colleagues and friends and to be updated with the happenings in their respective lives. I am keeping them in my thoughts and I hope to see them again when we visit.
