4-Minute Workout for Busy People
Wednesday, February 29, 2012
This morning, I tried a new and short workout for busy people. It's not that I am THAT busy but a friend and my husband encouraged me to try it and so I did. They talked me into trying it yesterday. My friend said that her friends say it works. On the other hand, the husband was able to have a session with the mind behind this workout, Jim Saret, yesterday afternoon as a part of their staff development at work. During our talk last night, he shared that he did try it. As a couch potato for a long time, he surely had a sore back after doing the routine. Hahaha! (Sorry, Babe. Can't help it. :D)
So this morning, I did list the exercise and the repetitions which are so simple and easy. Or so I thought until I finished a set. Hah! I was panting and sweating like I did a 15-minute of the workout of the video that I have been following. And that convinced me to give it a chance for like a month. It is short, *simple* and (hopefully in my case) delivers expected results. It is my first day of trying it out and the only thing that I miss about my video workout is the funky and fun music. I checked for a the dance playlist on my iPod but nah, their beat is not that fast for a workout. Sure, I am not a musically-inclined person and can't tell what a Schecter Bass is but I am picky when it comes to my background music when exercising. And since I am not up to date when it comes to pop music, I am off to consult and ask for suggestions from my younger (and more updated) friends.
Anyway, going back to the exercise. I think I can do this repeatedly over the entire day. Like what I always say, something is better than nothing and this applies to exercising most especially.
