Aside from trimming down my waist, another fitness goal that I have this year is to tone and strengthen my arms. They are not as firm and strong as I like them to be but I know that regular workout and weight-lifting can help. I have two sets of two-year old dumbbells which are relatively light. Since last week, I have been reading articles and bought some instructional materials on dumbbells exercises for the arms and I think I need heavier dumbbells. So yesterday at the mall, while the husband was at the hardware store looking for new wiring duct, I went to the fitness shop and checked out their dumb bells. When the husband found me, he reminded me that we have to bring home a two weeks’ worth of groceries too and we’re commuting. It means that the dumbbells, which are quite heavy have be bought next week. Oh well. They can wait.
