We have all seen it, the varied versions of “Keep Calm” posters. Some are hilarious while others are quite enlightening. By far, this is my most favorite version:
Recently, I have discovered that exercising when feeling stressed, anxious or troubled can greatly help. We all have our own ways of coping with stress – we binge eat, cut our hair, pamper ourselves at the spa and salon or impulsively buy gold coins, bags, shoes, clothes and others. Researchers claim that exercise helps reduce stress, anxiety, and fight depression. It reduces levels of the body’s stress hormones stimulates the production of endorphins which is the body’s natural painkillers and mood elevators.
Sure, I eat and shop when feeling down but I am happy now that I have discovered that exercising can greatly lift my spirits up too.
